Voter Information

We’ll need every vote to guarantee our environmental rights, so make sure you’re ready to vote — early or on Election Day, in person or by mail. Here’s what you need to know:

New Yorkers can register to vote in person or by mail. If registering by mail, your application must be postmarked no later than October 8, 2021. The Board of Elections must receive your application by October 13, 2021 to be eligible to vote in the general election.

If registering in person, your application must be received no later than October 8, 2021. New Yorkers can register to vote at their local board of elections or any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration act. To find your local board of elections click here.

If your address has changed, you must notify your county board of elections by October 13, 2021 in order to vote.
